After more than a month of many emails and planning everything came together on a perfect summer evening at Ferguson's Orchard in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for a styled wedding shoot. I was contacted by the orchard to take promotional photos of their orchard that will now be available as a rustic wedding venue. Rather than just shoot the venue I proposed we set up a styled shoot. With the help of many contributors and a couple of friends to be models I think we put together an amazing shoot that I finally am able to share with all or you! It took over 7 hours of set up the day of and ended with a surprise proposal, (but more of that to come in the next post.) I thought it was about time I dove into this world of blogging, so what better subjects to start with than my wonderful niece, Kate and nephew, Joey. After last year doing a separate photo shoots for each of them, Joey at his football game and a styled Tea Party shoot for Kate. This year I wanted to come up with a theme that I could include both of them and show the brother/sister love that is always there but sometimes not seen when they are at each other’s throats. So after a day of set up and help planning from their great parents we weren't sure the weather was going to cooperate but in the end we were able to get the shoot in.
